OUTDOOR PARTY
Outdoor parties can
be wonderful. More
room for your guests
and less craziness
in your home. Things
to consider when
planning an outdoor
party are:
1. You may want to
rent a canopy or
tent. If you have a
large number of
guests and it starts
raining then imagine
all those people
filing their way
inside your home.
Also outdoor nature,
birds etc are
important to keep in
mind.
2. Do you want a
buffet style or sit
down dinner.
Remember you need
dishes, utensils,
glasses, napkins and
table clothes. Don't
forget tables and
chairs. You could
have buffet style
with a barbeque.
3. Theme parties are
fun. Pick a theme
and have your food
dishes and
decorations reflect
the theme. You can
even have your
invitations for your
specific theme.
4. Entertainment
could be music and
or games such as
volleyball,
badminton, crochet
and much more.

Wines, what do I
serve?
Always have ready to
serve red, white,
and rose wines with
your meal. Red wine
is great with meats
however not all
individuals like red
wine so it is
necessary to have
the option of the
above wines.
How much liquor do I
need to buy?
The first thing to
figure out before
you buy the liquor
is what is the most
common liquor do
your friends and
family like. Then
how many quests will
be attending my
party. Multiple the
number of guests by
2, then multiple
that number by the
number of hours your
party will be.
Example 30 guests x
2= 60. Then take
that answer 60 x 4
hours=240. That is
the approximate
number of drinks
that will be
consumed during your
party. Take a look
at the chart below:
|
Liquor
(hard) |
Approximately
25 mixed
drinks per
quart |
|
Champagne |
1 case will
serve
approximately
75-80
drinks.
(case is 12
bottles) |
|
Wine |
Approximately
6 glasses (
750 ml) |
|
Punch |
1
gallon of
punch serves
approximately
25 people.

least 4 months
before your wedding.

Wedding Invitations
Wedding invitations
should be ordered 2
months before your
wedding date and
should be mailed 1
month before your
wedding date. Allow
two weeks for
replies as this will
give you ample time
to tell your caterer
the number of guests
that will be
attending.
